PARCO TECNOLOGICO

Use : COMMERCIAL / INDUSTRIAL
Location : TOSCANA ( ITALY )
Year : 2016
Client : SOGIN

Following the tradition of the founding of Roman cities, the buildings are positioned following a North-South orientation, corresponding to the Cardo, while the main accesses is located on the East-West axis, the Decumanus. The main innovation is the idea of modeling the landscape reusing soil coming from the construction of the Sogin national deposit. Starting from Cardo and Decumanus axes a tectonic movement generates the basement of the 18 proposed buildings blending them into the landscape with compact shapes. A circular volume with central patio emerges at different heights, creating a landscape of the sinuous topography which reproduces the typical hills landscape of central Italy. The integration with the territory, as well as from orographic point of view, influences landscape surrounding buildings. The four quadrants with lenticular shapewill be used as arable area for agricultural production. A system of irrigation reuse, once filtered, the waters coming from the buildings.
