Biopol H project aims to become a leading institution in the field of clinical research at international level, therefore, the building must have a significant presence in the current urban landscape, becoming a new referent for both the nearest environment where it is located, than for the city. Within previous considerations economic viability (with the application of adequate resources both at the level of capital investment and maintenance) was the most important one along with energy saving and sustainability. Our volumetric strategy has been to organize the program with a strong upward trend in order to achieve a high level of impact on the skyline. Compacting the mass of the building this project free two important areas as squares for public access. Compactness will also contribute to the efficiency in the Energy performance of the building. At the same time it is intended to reinforce this effect by generating a large central access atrium.
