365 PARQUES

Use : CULTURAL / LANDSCAPE
Location : VALENCIA ( SPAIN )
Year : 2011
Client : AJUNTAMENT DE VALENCIA

365 parks in one park. 365 surprising ways to interpret the unique and fertile nature of Valencia, conceived to be touched and lived, to offer entertainment, culture and quality of life. This proposal aims to be something more than a beautiful garden, a new cultural hub for the city and the thousands of people who live and visit it. The objective is to strengthen the emotional bond and therefore become an Institution of Urban Culture. It is a lively, communicative and interactive park that involves people in its ever changing routine through a dynamic web updated daily. The concept of park takes an important qualitative step, going from being a projected space and executed punctually to being a space projected, executed and planned at same time, bigger innovation is including maintenance from the creation phase. Design geometry responds to the harmonious coexistence of the so-called five intelligences: vegetation, mechanization, routes, topography and drainage, and information systems.
